Precautions for chemotherapy response prediction test
- Required sample volume
-
- 1) Tissue (1cm³ X 3 pieces recommended) derived from a single lesion is requested, and damaged areas (central necrosis) should not be included.
(However, if the lesion area is small and the recommended dose is not sufficient, it is possible to request, but the result report may be delayed due to the time required for cell culture.)
- Test process
-
- 1) Sterile technique must be used for tissue collection and processing. (See Instructions for sterile tissue preparation.)
- Notes
-
- 1) Please request a test on the website 1-2 days before surgery.
- 2) If there is metastasis in the primary cancer, it can be requested together (for additional cost).
- 3) It is recommended that the test be performed within about 4 hours after sample collection, so please inquire at the laboratory in advance.
- 4) It is mandatory to fill out the examination request form, so please provide detailed information to the guardian.
