Precautions for BRAF mutation hotspot test (revisit)

- 1) Please request a test for at least 1 ml (3 ml recommended) of whole blood in an EDTA tube, and 10 ml (15 ml recommended) of urine.
- 2) Use sterile technique for tissue collection (advance inquiry required).

- 1) BRAF test can be requested only for canine.
- 2) As blood is used as the control for BRAF mutation, at least 1 ml is required. If 3 ml is delivered, BRAF mutation test results in plasma are provided together.
- 3) Record the urine collection time so that one may know the elapsed time after urine collection.
- 4) If the guardian collects urine, confirm that the sample has beencollected within 24 hours and deliver it immediately.
- 5) After receiving the sample, deliver it as soon as possible, and store the sample at 4 ℃ until shipment.
- 6) It is mandatory to fill out the examination request form, so please provide detailed information to the guardian.
